Ledges State Park!

Can you say - AWESOME! For those of you that haven't made a visit to Ledges State Park - I highly suggest it! It's only about 35 minutes from Grimes, and is a great day trip. I met this family last Sunday morning there but decided to take along my own family along just to get away. The family I was photographing was super easy, stylish, and up for anything. You almost have to be when you're getting your photos taken in a state park. Be prepared to hike down into the creek and get a little dirty. This was my first visit and it won't be my last! After the shoot my family & I stayed for a picnic, playing, and hiking through the streams that flow right over the roadways. AMAZING SITE!
