Family Photos at the Rose Garden

This is one location option. It is the Rose Garden behind the Art Center. Although most Saturdays it's taken over by weddings, it's a perfect location. Lots of stone, flowers, columns, big trees, and a short stroll away is Greenwood Park. Greenwood has a pond, walking paths, and boulders.

This was my 2nd shoot with this family and we were wondering if we would fit it in between the rain! It was pouring down on the way to the shoot but only spitting here and there by the time we arrived. It was perfect lighting - no sun, which means no shadows, and no squinting! We had happy kids and lots of smiles to choose from.
